These trains are headed from the Northern New Jersey terminal area to destinations like Harrisburg, Chicago, Atlanta and Jacksonville. As many as 30-40 CSX, Norfolk Southern and Canadian Pacific freight trains roll over the recently restored double track mainline. The former Lehigh Valley main is only a few hundred yards from the shop and there is a small park with a gazebo and paved parking area to afford a comfortable site for train watching.
